Scripture Reading

It is critically important in every believer’s life to be in God’s Word every day. It is the best way to know God and learn His ways and discover what He has in store for our lives.

Please click one of the following links to find a reading plan and commit to spend time every day reading from the Bible. Remember, habits take time to form and this is the beginning for some of of us, so it will take time for us to form this habit.

Devotionals can be a good way to gain insight into God’s word. They should not replace reading the Bible every day, but as a supplement can be very encouraging in your daily walk with God.

Below are some devotionals we recommend. Pick one and give it a try. See how you can apply God’s word in your life and then go to our Walking page and comment on what God is showing you in His Word and how He is teaching you to apply it in your daily life.

Our Daily Bread
Since it was first published in 1956, Our Daily Bread has become the resource for which RBC Ministries is best known. The daily devotional thoughts published in Our Daily Bread help readers spend time each day in God’s Word.

My Utmost for His Highest
Find inspiration and encouragement from thought-provoking meditations that will draw you closer to God and will remind you of His awesome power, His relationship with you, and your relationship with others. Energize your spirit when you allow God to speak to your heart!

Experiencing God
The heart-cry of the Blackaby family is to help people to experience God. They do this through their extensive writing, speaking and teaching ministry. Everywhere they share their unique message, drawing on timeless truths, God is drawing people to Himself and setting them free. We pray the Lord will continue to use our ministry to revive His people and to equip spiritual leaders to impact their world for Christ.
